Andrew Davies, General Manager

Andrew has worked at The Food Chain since July 2008. He has been involved in supporting a variety of organisations supporting people living with HIV for 10 years in a voluntary capacity. His role includes operational management and financial responsibility for the charity and he represents the staff team on the management committee.

Katie Smith, Programme Development Manager

Katie joined the Food Chain in February 2011, bringing with her experience of senior management and service delivery within other health charities. Katie takes responsibility for ensuring the full menu of Food Chain services meets the needs of people living with HIV in London today.

Damon Nicholls, Community Dietitian

Damon started with the Food Chain in April 2011 and has a background in clinical dietetics as a HIV Specialist and clinical team leader. His roles and responsibilities include working closely with staff to ensure service users are in receipt of the most appropriate services, case managing certain cases and developing new and existing services in line with the charity’s strategic plan.

Nich Fant, Food Delivery Coordinator

Nich started life with The Food Chain as a volunteer, he now facilitates the efficient delivery of all meal and grocery services. He works closely with service users, referrers and volunteers to deliver appropriate food that meets the nutritional needs of service users and their dependents, ensuring desired outcomes are achieved.

Julia Bell, Outreach Coordinator

Julia joined The Food Chain as a volunteer in 2006 and is now responsible for co-ordinating the Eating Positively nutrition and cookery classes. She works closely with service users, venues, HIV support organisations, volunteers and staff to organise classes across London.

Tina Sloane, Fundraising and Events Coordinator

Tina joined The Food Chain in 2009 after working for Kith & Kids (supporting families living with learning disabilities) where she was responsible for Community & Events Fundraising. Her role is to secure resources to allow the organisation to deliver, improve and expand its services for people living with HIV.

Nigel Burch, Finance and Facilities Administrator

Nigel started at the Food Chain in January 2011. He has a financial and catering background, having worked mainly in hotels and theatres. His responsibilities include financial reporting, procurement, special projects & logistics and the general office administration. He has been a volunteer at Positive East and worked at the Medical Foundation for AIDS & Sexual Health (MedFASH).

Volunteers give a very high level of support to the office and special mention must be made of Ian Mackay who provides almost full time help.
