corporate fundraising

Whether your company has five or five hundred employees there are many ways for you to support people in London who are living with HIV and struggling to access the food they need to get and stay well.

Get involved in next year's Spring Office Picnic, on Friday 30 March 2012. A chance to get your colleagues sitting on some gingham by the printer, sharing some picnic dishes and raising money for The Food Chain. Find out how by clicking here.

You may be able to offer pro bono support, for instance in-kind consultancy, the use of meeting rooms or your in-house caterers for events or simply introductions to other business contacts.

If you haven't already you could set up Payroll Giving or Every Penny Counts schemes for your employees - we'd be happy to come and speak to your employees about the work of The Food Chain and how their donations would be helping to change and save lives. You can set up donations to come directly from your payroll by clicking here.

We currently have many exciting sponsorship opportunities. If you'd like to sponsor a Food Chain event or campaign you may be able to do so for a few hundred pounds. To find out more about promoting your company and supporting The Food Chain please call Tina on 020 7354 0333.

Employee fundraising is shown to improve staff motivation and retention, so why not start a bake off, initiate a wear red day, a raffle or a lazy treasure hunt? Don't forget when you fundraise through work you may find that your company will match the amount you are able to raise. We have lots more ideas of ways to raise money in an office, to find out more simply email Tina.

If you'd like to nominate us for support as your Charity of The Year or for support from your office's charity committee then please let us know as we're always happy to come and speak about the great work of The Food Chain and it's fabulous volunteers.

Examples of Companies That Have Supported The Food Chain in recent months:

In the past year Rio Tinto have sold red ribbons on World AIDS Day, sponsored our annual review, sold cakes, held raffles and welcomed us to speak to their staff about volunteering opportunities.

The law firm Hogan Lovells have supported our Spring Office Picnic 2011 by hosting a launch event with Lord Chris Smith and covering the print costs of our fundraising packs.

Positive Digital kindly donated many an hour of design work to help us design our Spring Office Campaign and build the website. You can view the fruits of their labour here.

Last year The Indoor Design Company choose us as their charity of the year. As well as staff fundraising and donated raffle prizes we were delighted that Ian Drummond agreed to stay involved with The Food Chain and help us organise our 2011 events.
