Sarah is aged 18, pregnant, living with HIV and very unwell. She is having two meals a week provided by The Food Chain and these are enabling her to gain weight and manage her anti-retroviral drugs. Hopefully this will help ensure a healthy future for her and help her support her baby. Abandoned by the baby's father when he learned of her HIV status and brought up in care with no family contact, Sarah recently told her dietitian that The Food Chain was looking after her better than any one had ever done. We will continue to support Sarah and her baby for as long as they need us.
