Fundraising & Development Co-ordinator Vacancy - The Food Chain - HIV Nutrition Charity -Central London - £25,000

We are seeking a highly motivated and organised individual to join a small, dynamic team at The Food Chain to support the delivery of essential nutritional services to people living with HIV across London. This new fundraising and development role offers enormous potential for the right candidate, as they will have substantial input into shaping and implementing our fundraising strategy.

On Christmas Day 2008 we will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the first meal delivered by The Food Chain. Since then nearly 400,000 meals have been delivered, along with a variety of additional nutrition-related services for people living with HIV. We are now looking to further expand our range of services and this will require us to raise additional resources.

You will join a team of five full-time staff, and work closely with some of the 800 trained volunteers who fundraise and deliver our range of services.

To cultivate support from personal and corporate donors, strong communication skills will be essential, as will a commitment to supporting people living with HIV or other disadvantaged groups. The role may suit someone looking to move out of a corporate environment with an existing network of contacts.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered.
