Our Services

We offer a variety of services, delivered by volunteers, taking into account the needs of our service users:

1. Home delivered Hot and Cold Meals on a Sunday. Tailored to a person’s cultural and medical requirements, these nutritionally balanced meals contain essential nutrients and are also provided for carers and family members when required.

2. Grocery Hampers, providing nutritious food each week for service users unable to shop for themselves to assist them back to health.

3. ‘Eating Positively’ interactive nutrition and cookery classes offering advice, nutrition education and practical cookery.

Further information about HIV and nutrition is available from our website www.foodchain.org.uk, where fact sheets and recipes that address the special needs of people living with HIV can be downloaded.

All of our core services are delivered with minimal overheads due to the involvement of over 800 trained volunteers. All services are provided free of charge to people living with HIV in the London area.
