If you are volunteering to work in one of our kitchens, one of the first decisions you'll want to make is which one. In practice, the choice usually makes itself. If you're a Kitchen Assistant, you'll need to be in place by 8:00 AM and let's face it, you are unlikely to want to get across London for that time on a Sunday morning!

Having said that, many of our wonderful volunteers do not have a Food Chain kitchen close to their home but still make the trek to one not too far away. We are very grateful to the local authorities who allow us to use these kitchens each Sunday, free of charge.

We have been asked not to include the full addresses here for security reasons but of course, once you attend The Food Chain induction course and begin volunteering, full details will be given to you. There are currently six Food Chain kitchens in action every Sunday, fifty-two weeks a year.
