Code for Good
Last weekend University students set about using their technology skills to support local causes as part of J.P. Morgan's Code for Good Challenge.
The Food Chain presented students with the challenge of developing a route planner to meet the needs of our food delivery services.
It is notoriously difficult to code route planners and we have extra complications around safe delivery times and also wanted drivers to be able to (with the click of a button) log online when the meal was delivered.
Students slogged over the two day period and presented various options on Sunday 17 November to a judging panel. The winning programme will be developed as part of the Force for Good program by leveraging its technology analyst and intern program participants.
Thanks to all the students who took part and also to J.P. Morgan for involving The Food Chain in the event.
