The Food Chain at The Foundling
Despite its often unfriendly weather, autumn is a time of year we most look forward to, as late in the season we hold a big fundraising event to raise funds for people living with HIV in London. This year, we are organising a drinks reception at the beautiful Foundling Museum in Central London, and you are warmly invited to join us!
Tickets are on sale now via the ticketing platform Pure Charity (link below), priced at £70 (with the option of an additional £30 donation). We have planned an entertaining evening at one of the most esteemed venues in the Capital, The Foundling Museum.

Tickets are on sale now – don’t miss out on what we hope will be a wonderful evening for The Food Chain.
We’re excited to confirm the evening’s entertainment and several of the auction lots, below.
Jay Rayner’s Jazz Quartet
Alongside Jay Rayner’s well known love of all things edible is a lesser known passion for jazz piano and the Great American songbook. Now, alongside a collection of superlative musicians, Jay brings his jazz quartet to the Foundling Museum for a set of jazz standards, torch songs and swinging hits; the perfect accompaniment to drinks and nibbles as the evening kicks off.
Don’t miss out on these tunes as you tuck into canapés and a glass of fizz – arrive promptly to get the foot-tapping underway!
Jay Rayner’s ‘Greedy Man in a Hungry World’ Talk
Jay’s engaging ‘Greedy Man…’ talk was on offer as our ‘early-bird’ ticket deal. Engaging, witty and honest, Jay’s talk questions preconceptions about food issues.
45 lucky guests have reserved their seat for the hour-long talk by being first to purchase their tickets. Unfortunately 45 is the capacity of the Court Room, but we have plenty going on elsewhere in The Foundling Museum, including twenty-minute tours of this fascinating building. *
* A tour will be offered on arrival on the evening (max 25 people per tour).
Award-winning Steffan Ciccotti continues the cocktail-jazz into the evening, performing an array of jazz melodies either side of the evening’s live auction in the Picture Gallery (lot details below).
Sean Savage Caricatures
Throughout & 2nd Floor Gallery
Sean Savage is an established caricaturist with over 25 years’ experience. He will provide live, on the spot caricatures for a suggested donation – however much you think it is worth! Each caricature is personalised, and will be put in a protective sleeve ready for you to take home – so make sure you’ve found space at home for a quite unique portrait!
