Vote for The Food Chain and help us win a £5,000 award!
The Food Chain is taking part in a fundraising campaign run by Engage Foundation, the charitable arm of Engage Mutual Assurance.
If enough people vote for The Food Chain, we could be one of the seven happy recipients of a £5,000 Community Award.
We are grateful to Fred Lee, one of our long standing volunteers, who brought this great funding opportunity to our attention. Engage Foundation will give away seven Community Awards of £5,000 each to worthy causes from around the UK. With your help, we hope to be one of the lucky winners of this year’s round of funding.
So here’s how it works. We chose Eating Together as our featured project and we posted it on the Engage Foundation’s website. Have a look at our project page here. All you need to do next is to click on the ‘vote’ button, register a few details and cast your vote. This campaign is open to Engage Mutual customers as well as other members of the general public. The more votes we will get, the higher our chances to win a £5,000 Community Award.
Community Awards were set up to support projects which make a difference in local communities. We feel that this is a wonderful opportunity to promote our Eating Together service, which enables people living with HIV to meet others around a hot meal, enjoy peer-support, and have much-needed respite from their daily worries.
Our project page is open on the Engage Foundation’s website until Monday 17 November, 12pm. So get voting and share the link with others who care about the Food Chain:
