Mixed Fruit, Pear and Pecan Crumble

120 gms Pecans
75 gms Cold butter, in small pieces
100 gms Plain flour
100 gms Demerara sugar

4 Pears
150 gms Mixed fruit such as cranberries, sultanas, currants, etc
1 Orange, zest only
50 gms Caster sugar

250 mls Cream or low fat creme fraiche or custard


Preheat the oven to 180

Serving suggestions

For allergic/intolerant to lactose you can serve with soy cream or custard

This will work well with other seasonal fruit, such as plums, damsons and apples or a mix of all.
