Jamie Gladstone

Trustee

Biography

Jamie joined the Board in 2024, bringing his experience of volunteering with The Food Chain to a new capacity. His experience in marketing, communications and corporate involvement is already bringing some great perspective to the organisation and we’re excited to see how his role evolves over the coming years.

Jamie says “I was born and raised in Toronto, Canada where I spent 12 years in digital marketing for a major Canadian news media company. I emigrated to London in 2018 to be closer to family and to embark on a new adventure full of new travels and experiences. It was on this journey that I discovered the Food Chain and I became a volunteer in 2019. Since settling in London I have bought my own flat in Clapham, and have worked for various organisations to help them grow their revenues as a digital marketing and e-commerce freelancer. In my spare time you’ll find me cooking, running, or traveling at any opportunity I can get.

Not only does Food Chain allow me to help others while flexing my cooking skills, it has introduced me to a kind and welcoming group of people from all walks of life. My fondest memory is a volunteer party held in Regent Park where we played games, and enjoyed snacks and drinks in the sun. I’m honoured to be part of an organisation of incredible people that know how to have fun and represent equality and compassion.”
