Why not get your company or clients involved to help mark World AIDS Day, one of the most important dates in our calendar.
We have red ribbons, fundraising packs, leaflets, collection tins and t-shirts at the ready to aid your fundraising efforts. Once you’ve got a date and time in the diary for your fundraiser, please let us know. We would be excited to visit you on the day and talk about what we do.
Traditionally, red ribbons are sold on and around World AIDS Day for a suggested £1 donation. As the internationally-recognised symbol for HIV/AIDS awareness, the red ribbon is our best friend! Please contact us and we’ll post some to your place of work; ribbons come in batches of 100.
If you’re fundraising alone or as part of a small team, why not talk to your boss first – most companies are usually generous enough to match what you raise!
As much as we all love a dress-down Friday, we can’t help but think even the best-dressed workers aren’t quite creative enough with their casual wear! That’s why we’re encouraging employees to wear red to mark World AIDS Day, and to not be shy when talk comes up of red jeans, make-up or even red wigs!
Other examples of World AIDS Day fundraisers at work include coffee mornings, red-themed ‘bake offs’ and lunchtime picnics. We have more ideas of ways to raise money in office this World AIDS Day too. Brainstorm with us – get in touch!
