Fruit Smoothie

  • 1 banana
  • ½ apple with pips and skin
  • ½ pear with pips & skin
  • 2 tbsp natural yogurt
  • 2 Brazil nuts optional


  • Wash the apple and pear and cut into chunks.
  • Using a hand blender or liquidiser process all the ingredients together, except the muesli.
  • Pour into a bowl and sprinkle over the seeds or muesli. Eat immediately.


This is a great way to add lots of ‘good’ soluble fibre into your diet, providing a high energy and a ‘feel good’ breakfast. Using live yogurt, especially probiotic yogurt, helps to build up good bacteria in your gut. This is great for the digestion process and might be helpful if you suffer from diarrhoea.
