Whether your company employs five, fifty or five hundred staff, there are opportunities throughout the year for you to support The Food Chain.

We have worked with numerous corporate supporters over the years, but we’re always interested in working with companies who are new to us as well.

Core Recruitment sponsored our Green Apple Dinners in 2011 and 2012, as well as our Annual Dinner in October 2015. Three Corecruitment employees bravely skydived from 10,000ft in spring 2014, raising over £1,000!

GS1 UK chose The Food Chain as their charity partner for three years between 2012 – 2015. In October of that year, they hosted an away day at our then new Acorn House kitchen, with all staff partaking in a cookery class and workshops run by The Food Chain.

They have also organised fundraising activities including a dress down Friday, a quiz and a cupcake cookery class. They provided The Food Chain with pro bono support around marketing and communications.

The GS1 team undertook a challenge of monumental proportions and cycled all the way to their Brussels office in 2013. The following year, they conquered the Three Peaks.

Lloyds We remain grateful to Andrew Mitchell for making an application on behalf of The Food Chain to the Lloyd’s Charities Trust for a Lloyd’s Market Charity Award.

There were over 70 applications from people like Andrew who work in the Lloyd’s of London market and also are volunteers for charities – out of those, the Trustees of the Lloyd’s Charities Trust made 30 awards of £2,000, including one for The Food Chain.

Andrew says: “I was delighted to be able to assist the Food Chain with this award, and hope that it helps put the finishing touches to the fabulous new Kings Cross kitchen.”

Out@Time Warner organised a number of fundraising events in 2011 to support our kitchen appeal, and held a number of film showings at their London offices in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Lots of the team volunteer in our kitchen too, not only to support our services but also as part of our Employee Volunteering Days programme.

Olswang LLP offered The Food Chain pro bono legal and business development support. They also took part in a pilot of our corporate cookery classes in October 2012, and ensured we had a presence at several of their networking events.

Progressive Digital Media PLC chose The Food Chain as their Charity of the Year for 2013. They raised money all year round by holding bake sales, ‘duvet days’, quiz nights and a number of other unique fundraisers.
