Disclaimer - As primary contact of the organisation, I confirm that I am legally authorised to bind the organisation to the terms set out below. Upon acceptance of your application to become a registered referrer, you accept to be bound by the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. We would like to draw to your attention in particular the following terms: You must treat as confidential the user identification code, account password or any other information given to you as part of our security procedures. You understand that as a referrer you will have access to personal data (within the meaning of the Data Protection Act 1998) relating to referred persons. This may include data initially sent by the referred person when requesting a service and any ongoing data relating to the services provided by The Food Chain. For example, any updated data could include information on whether a service request has been accepted/rejected, whether a service is ongoing/complete, or the type of service provided. You hereby agree to: (a) keep any data relating to the referred person strictly confidential; (b) keep all such data appropriately secure; and (c) comply with your obligations under the Data Protection Act 1998 and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 and any other data protection laws and regulations applicable in the UK and codes of practice, guidelines and recommendations issued by the Information Commissioner or any replacement body. You agree to only access and use such data to the extent that such access is strictly necessary for the purposes of the referrals to The Food Chain or to understand the outcome of a referral (for example the type of service provided and whether it is ongoing). From time to time, The Food Chain may decide in its sole discretion to anonymise any updates posted in relation to the referred persons.
