Having volunteered with the Food Chain since 2015, Helen joined the team in April 2022 as manager and chef for our new Community Café. Sadly in March 2023 the café was forced to close, but we’re delighted that Helen has found her way back to us as cover for Clare’s parental leave from November 2023 to November 2024!
Helen will be covering all aspects of Training and Volunteer Coordination including recruitment, events and day-to-day management of our brilliant volunteer team. She works 2.5 days a week on a flexible basis. Helen’s long experience volunteering makes her a great choice for this role and we feel very lucky to have her back as part of the team!
