Eating Positively (Cookery Classes)

The Food Chain > Get Involved > Volunteer Vacancies > Volunteer Roles > Eating Positively (Cookery Classes)

Eating Positively is our four-week series of interactive cooking and nutrition classes specifically designed with our Service Users in mind. Courses run 3 or 4 times per year, taking place on Mondays at our Kings Cross kitchen.

Eating Positively Volunteer Roles

Eating Positively Lead Cook / Cooking Teacher

Teach a cookery class to up to twelve people.

You’ll demonstrate how to make a particular dish, breaking down the recipe into easy to follow steps. You’ll have small team of kitchen assistants to support you by assisting with preparation and supporting service users during the class. If you’re a confident cook and public speaker, this could be the role for you!

Eating Positively courses are 4 weeks long and run 3-4 times per year on Mondays.

Eating Positively Kitchen Assistant

You’ll support the Eating Positively Cooking Teacher with our interactive cooking and nutrition classes. This will involve setting up work stations and supporting our Service Users who are participating in the class.

Eating Positively courses are 4 weeks long and run 3-4 times per year on Mondays.
